These General Terms and Conditions are included here in the interests of openness and clarity.

Because of our experience, our robust working process and sound business judgement, we are confident that you will be happy with your web site. We therefore, for smaller sites, generally do not require any payment prior to completion of your site, except in relation to setup fees, direct costs and disbursements we must make (i.e. domain registrations and third party charges). For larger pieces of work, we do generally require payment in advance.
When your web site is ready for release, you will have the opportunity to view the site and request changes to be made if it does not meet with the specification. After this review of your web site, the remainder of the price agreed (including any options you have chosen) will be due for payment. When this payment has been cleared, your web site will be released live onto the Internet.
QuickResults.co.uk will not be held responsible with regard to third party disputes relating to content supplied by you or approved by you. We will not accept any responsibility for any copyright infringement of any material supplied or approved by you. You agree to be responsible for and fully indemnify us against any action or claim in respect of, among other things, third party disputes and/or copyright infringement.
Our package payment includes domain name registration for an available .co.uk site. In the event that you require a .com web site there will be an extra charge (currnetly £40) per year, if it is available.
All WebPacks include free hosting for up to 1 year from the registration of the chosen domain name or the receipt of the domain name transferred to us.
One month prior to the expiration of the first year, you will be advised by e-mail to renew your contract for a further year. If you agree to this, we will charge your credit card and send you a VAT invoice. Such payment must be cleared at least one week prior to the expiration date. If response and payment is not received by this time, we shall delete the website and all its contents on the first business day after the expiration date. Any reinstatement will be subject to the domain name and resources remaining available and receipt and clearance of funds due plus a reinstatement fee based upon the site complexity.
Our packages include two operational maintenance changes during the year, this maybe text changes or image changes. In the event that you require major changes these will be negotiated on a case by case basis and be paid as a one off charge which will not affect your annual charges unless you require extra pages or you exceed your stated MB allowance.
We include within some packages automatic search engine registration and inclusion in your local web directory as stated.
If extra registration is required with, for example, Shopping Malls, Trade Associations, Federations or Manual Search Engine registration to ensure better positioning, these will incur extra charges.
All our prices are subject to VAT at 17.5%.
We reserve the right to change our terms and conditions at any time in order to maintain and improve our service.
Bandwidth - you are allowed the agreed bandwidth for tailored accounts or the stated WebPack™ bandwidth usage each month. If you exceed this, you agree to pay us for this use at the rate of 5p (five pence) per 1 MB. If your bandwidth usage reaches the point where it has an adverse affect on us or our other clients, we reserve the right to disable your site until you can reduce your bandwidth usage.
Web pages - commercial use of web space, and ftp space (by arrangement) is permitted. You will be responsible for the content of your pages, including obtaining legal permission for any works they include and ensuring that the contents of these pages do not violate UK law. You will be held responsible for and accept responsibility for any defamatory, confidential, secret or other proprietary material available via your page(s).
We reserve the right to remove material deemed inappropriate from your web pages, without prior notice. QuickResults.co.uk do not allow adult, warez or illegal MP3 sites on their servers. Anyone finding such content on our servers is encouraged to inform our webmaster immediately and you agree that such content, or the link to it, may be deleted without prior consultation.
Credit card payments are preferred, however credit accounts are not available.
You may not store more data in your account than your stated allocated space
You may not run server processes (e.g. talkers/IRC Bots) from your virtual server.
Back-ups are a separate and important activity and we have several different options for you to choose from depending on the complexity and platform your site is running on. We also offer crisis planning assistance if required.
Back-ups - To be clear, because of our good working practices, we will keep the latest version of your site, that we have generated, as our in-house working back-up. However, its format and construction are such that should you need a copy from us (and you have not made separate arrangements as above) you would incur approximately one or two day's labour charge (depending on complexity) for us to retrieve the copy from our systems and transmit it to you. We will not keep back-ups for you of the site, or any other data generated by your site, unless you make specific and separate arrangements for us to do so.
QuickResults.co.uk is a business to business web-site. This notwithstanding, we shall not be held liable for, and you will indemnify us against, any loss or damages caused by the use or misuse, unavailability or removal of services.
When an account is closed or suspended, all files (including backups, web pages etc.) will be deleted immediately.
We reserve the right to cancel your account at any time without notice.
You must not participate in any form of unsolicited bulk e-mailing or spam.
To protect your privacy, we never distribute your name or e-mail address to any third parties, unless required to do so to provide the services you have requested, or if required by the law, or law enforcement agencies.
Our WebPacks are priced on a yearly basis and if you select this option we expect you to commit for this period of time. Because of that commitment, we offer a significant discount on our normal monthly prices. If you cancel your account within your service period then QuickResults.co.uk will not make any refunds on any unused portions of your account. While we do not offer refunds for prorated service you have no obligation to continue using our service.
We reserve the right to amend and update these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice. By using your website, logging into your account, using your data management systems, uploading files into your account or paying us for services, you are indicating your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
These general terms and conditions may be varied during detailed contract negotiations only in writing by QuickResults.co.uk provided that such terms and conditions may only serve to strengthen these general terms and conditions from QuickResults.co.uk perspective. In the event of conflict in that sense, or in the direct symantical sense, these general terms and conditions shall prevail unless a specific contract amendment document has been approved by a QuickResults.co.uk Director.
You and we both agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. We both accept that a Court may strike out or override any part of these terms and conditions if it considers them to be illegal, unenforceable or unfair, pursuant to some statutory provision. In such cases a Court can enforce the terms and conditions as if the offending clause or clauses had never been contained in them. Should any provision or portion of these terms and conditions be held invalid or unenforceable by a court of law for any reason, it shall be deemed omitted and all other provisions of these terms and conditions shall continue in full force and effect. You attest that you are of legal age to enter into this Agreement.
